These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the VeldScan Android application, website (veldscan.com), and API services. By downloading, accessing, or using VeldScan, you agree to these Terms.
VeldScan provides satellite-derived map layers and analysis tools intended to support field work and exploration. Results are computational interpretations of remote-sensing / terrain data. They are not a guarantee of what exists underground or on site.
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) and able to form a binding contract. You are responsible for complying with local laws when using the App outdoors (private land, permits, protected areas, etc.).
VeldScan may identify your install with a device token to track credits and unlock status. You are responsible for activity on your device. Do not attempt to abuse, spoof, or reverse-engineer purchase or credit systems.

The App, branding, and our software are owned by WorldConnect Apps or its licensors. Map/satellite providers retain rights in their data under their terms. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use VeldScan for personal or internal business purposes according to these Terms.
The App depends on third parties such as Google Play and Mapbox. Their terms and privacy policies also apply to their portions of the experience.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that results will be accurate, complete, or uninterrupted.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WORLDCONNECT APPS AND ITS OPERATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR BUSINESS, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF VELDSCAN. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR CREDITS IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) USD 50.
We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or abuse the service. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it.
We may update these Terms. The effective date will change when we do. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the operator’s place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer protections in your country apply.
